Word from Marni Hall is that Channel 6 management is trying to rid a certain older, more established reporter from the payroll by moving her to different shifts in an attempt she quits. Newsroom sources tell me who it is but I'll leave it to you to guess who YOU think it is. It's not too hard to figure out.
Also, I hear John Rawlins will be off the air by May because management has decided not to renew his contract.

I'm thinking it could be Cathy Gandolfo because I've seen her over the last several months...at times on odd times, like early in the morning and I think even once on a weekend show.
If WPVI continues to remove familiar faces from the air their ratings will tank. It's bad enough they let Erica Grow leave. Rawlins is a good reporter and deserves better.
I agree; it does seem Cathy is working different shifts now.

Well we know know it was Lauren Wilson. Scoop section of philly.com is reporting she's been let go and won't be on air for the next 2mos and after that her contract ends. I hear 6abc is relaxing her non-compete clause too so she could go to another local station. I don't think it's likely though. If only 6abc would have pushed the overly dramatic dan cuellar out the door, sigh.
